Tonight we went to the Christmas Walk on Church Street in Dade City with Grandpa and Aunt Rene & Uncle Lyn. It was tons of fun. We stopped by the Ihop first and had dinner, of course Olivia ate french fry's and Mac & Cheese!! Then we headed over to see all the lights. We walked down all the streets and drank hot chocolate and ate cookies. We saw about 10 different "pretend" Santa Claus's and 5 different "pretend" baby Jesus's. Olivia also pointed out the 10 different doggies we passed walking ;) She got to pet a pony, and see a baby calf only 5 day's old. We had a great time!! Ton's of thanks to Uncle Lyn & Aunt Rene for taking us all!!!

Aunt Jenny's & Addilyn's Birthday!!

Tomorrow, December 18th, is Jen's birthday and Addilyn's birthday party!! While we are very sad that we will not be there for the occasion, we are still very happy for them. It is hard to believe that Addy is already 2 years old!! I remember when she was just born and still in the hospital. My mom, Olivia's grandma, is up in Indiana with Jen and Addy, so we are sort of "loaning" her to them :) We miss them all soooooo much and can't wait to see them again soon hopefully!! Until then, we must just say, Happy Birthday!! & We Love You!!!

Turning two, ear surgery, and Christmas!!

The past couple of months have been so fast and busy, I barely realized they were happening. Olivia turned two years old on September 17 and it was a wonderful day. We went to the mall with grandma and grandpa and went shopping, and had our pictures taken. Olivia got to dress up as tinkerbell, and had tons of fun playing with grandpa while they took her picture. Shortly after her birthday we moved into a two bedroom apartment. Olivia now has her own bedroom, obviously decorated in tinkerbell. She has her own television in there which is on nonstop replay of Beauty & the Beast. Olivia also had tubes put in her ears in the beginning of december, it's a simple procedure, they put tubes in her ears to prevent anymore ear infections, and they also took her adenoids out. It was a quick thing, and she barely even noticed anything was going on. Olivia was also the star of her christmas pageant, well at least in her mommy's eyes anyway. It was a short little program, but she sang a song about baby Jesus and looked absolutely beautiful!! 2010 has been a very fast year for us, but it was a great one, as we are in the middle of potty training, and many other toddler adventures, I can't wait to see what the 2011 will bring us.

ER's and Project 10 Plan

So last night Olivia and I had to visit the Emergency Room. After staying there for over three hours we finally got sent home, a little bit better than before we went in. We are really going to have to figure something out about these ear infections she gets. Other than that we have been busy, busy, busy. Never seem to find time to just play anymore. However i have noticed that there are incredibly way to many toys that Olivia does not play with anymore. Then, i heard about this project 10 plan, it is a challenge from a youtuber to use up 10 bathroom products, wether makeup, hair care, or body washes, or perfumes or whatever, but use up 10 old almost gone products before buying a new one. While i am trying to do this challenge, I am putting another into affect with her toys, maybe not 10 go and 1 comes, but we are definitely going to have to rotate somethings around somewhere, because our apartment is "ours" not "hers" (no matter what she thinks). So wish me luck with that!!

Missing Grandma!! And Allergies....

Since the last post, Valentine's day was soooo much fun for Olivia at school. She had a big party and gave away goodie bag's and came home with even more. Eyeyeye, there are still little heart stickers everywhere. But it was definitely fun. Well Olivia has been diagnosed with allergies, she had a cough and a severe runny nose, so when we went to the doctor, they told us it was allergies, while i was confused that a cough was a symptom of an allergy. Anyways she has been taking the claritan prescription for about a week now, and the cough is gone, the runny nose is getting better we are just still concerned about her asthma. So hopefully everything gets better and stays great!! We are really missing grandma, although we know the date she comes home now and we are very excited for that. We haven't been able to talk to grandma much lately since she has been so busy, however we have been talking to aunt jenny and cousin addy. What a cutie in her birthday pictures!!! I think a visit from them is due soon!!!!????!!!! We are making plans for mommy's birthday and look for some cute St Patrick's Day outfits!! No being pinched for Olivia!!

Grandpa's and Indiana and Snow

This is being posted well after the events because, i didn't have time to. But here it goes anyways. About 2 days after i was getting better from pink eye at 6am my mom called me and said we needed to find a plane ticket for my dad, because his dad, my grandpa, was sick and not doing very good, i found a ticket bought it and called her back with the info. about twenty minutes after that, she calls me back and said he had already passed away. So, my dad flew that day to Indiana, and my mom, Olivia, and i flew the next day. This was very hard for my dad, because he has no parents left here now, i only have one grandma. Olivia is very lucky to have her grandma and grandpa with her all the time. While we were in Indiana we spent time with my sister and her daughter Addilyn, the cutest little thing in Indiana!! However, I realized that she doesn't get grandma, and grandpa like Olivia does. I don't know how i missed this fact, but it just "clicked" all of the sudden. It was great being in Indiana with family, even though there was snow. Oh yeah, the snow, the day of the funeral, everyone was panicking because there was a big snow storm coming that night, Olivia loved it!! Her uncle Marvin gave her a ball of snow, and she just held it, saying "coo, coo" then she gave it to me. When the snow was falling and went in her eyes, she did great and just covered her face while i was stuck carrying her in the snow trying to see still. All together it was a great trip, with the exception of the loss of my grandpa, however i believe he is in a much better place, and back with grandma, where they belong together!! The hardest part was seeing my dad so upset, I am a big daddy's girl, and there is nothing worse than seeing this man of concrete, who can make me feel in trouble even at the age of 26, cry.

PinkEye & Busted Lip

It has been a very rough week for us, I got diagnosed with pink eye on monday and was given some medicine that actually made it worse, so had to go and see an eye specialist and got that fixed. My eye still itches and it has kind of moved to the other eye as well but hopefully the medicines will continue to make everything better. Meanwhile I also have a cold and had to start some antibiotics, blehhh. I missed school on tuesday, and haven't worked all week. After getting to classes crazy early today I was at least able to make up a test and get caught up on everything. I think. Olivia had an accident at school on monday and came home with a busted lip, her whole chin is scratched and the inside of her lip is pealing but she chews on it so it's really nasty. Hopefully that heals itself quickly. Grandma has been staying with us at our house, and just helping so much, since i couldn't see. But now that things are getting better, she is back at grandpa's and we miss her. We made it through another week though and hopefully this is not how the rest of the year will go....

Play Day With Grandma!!

This was a pretty fun week, we had school and are finally getting back into the routine after the holiday's. Olivia is continuing to do great in school, and grow more everyday. Every morning when we get to her daycare the other kids in her class all say "hi olivia" and "goodmorning" so hopefully we will be hearing more new conversation and words soon. I am doing good with my classes, just have to keep up. I am starting a new book with this online bookclub, the book is called "same kind of different me" or something. We'll see how that goes. This past saturday I had off so grandma stayed at our has friday night and we had a great time. Grandma read every book, three times each, then played "ring around the rosie" a billion times. Eventually we all fell asleep but at 730am olivia was sure to wake grandma up with a kiss over her head. Later saturday we all went shopping and olivia got new shoes!! Super cute!! (trying to get a pic up on here). After a long day of fun we had to stay at grandma and grandpa's, so of course waking up with grandpa was a blast because he is definitley a morning person like her, mommy and grandma slept in. It was a busy weekend but very fun, now mommy has to catch up on homework this week!!

Back to school and boo boo's...

Well, now that spring semester is starting, things are getting back to normal. That pretty much means less sleep, lot's of homework, seem's like always working, and never ever getting laundry or dishes done. But, grandma helps with laundry and dishes, (even when they aren't at her house, how great is that?) and grandpa is still our trash guy. Haha. School is going good though, a little more challenging this semester with an online course, which isn't too different other than it's at my own pace. So as long as I don't get behind, it's all good, and so far so good. As for Olivia, up until now she has jumped off couches (wink to jen), she has fallen down on pavement and even had a few bruises from unknown objects. However nothing was too major and only once did a knee actually require a bandaid. Well, right before christmas break I had to sign a paper from her teacher, she was bitten by another kid in her class, it was not her fault just the other child learning to bite I guess. Anyways, that broke my heart, and all grandma could say was, "that isn't going to be the worst thing that happens". Well, this past weekend she decided to play outside with grandpa, and she picked up a cement landscaping brick, well obviously it was too heavy, so she dropped it. On her toe. After an hour of crying, icing it, washing it, and lot's of holding it up in the air, she got another bandaid. Grandma had to pull over half of her toenail off her big toe, and she had a limp for a day or two. It is definitely the worst so far, but i know, it isn't going to be the worst thing that happens. Well it still broke my heart.
